Before the arrival of the ICT project under the KOICA sponsorship, students were faced with the challenge of where they would find study material such as books because Arusha girls high school does not have a book library. So the teachers were giving information to the parents to buy books and other materials for their children to study, very few students were able to afford it because the parents did not have enough money.
After this ICT project, the students have had the opportunity to get a digital library (Rachel) as well as the internet where they have been using the computer lab to study every day during break time, lunch hours and when they have private studies sessions. It has helped them a lot to increase their academic performance and even lead to a better performance in the national examination compared to the previous period before this ICT program.
