Computer Basic Training in Progress at Our Training Centre

We are pleased to share updates from our Computer Basic Training Program, currently ongoing at our Training Centre. This program is designed to equip students with essential digital skills required for academic, professional, and everyday computer use.

Throughout the training, students participate in hands-on practical sessions guided by experienced instructors, ensuring they not only understand concepts but also apply them confidently.

Below are the key modules covered so far:

Introduction to Computer

Students begin their journey by learning the fundamentals of computers, including:

  • Parts of a computer system (hardware & software)

  • Basic computer operations

  • Understanding operating systems

  • Proper use of keyboard and mouse

  • File and folder management

This session builds a strong foundation for all other modules.

Microsoft Word (Document Processing)

In this module, students learn how to create professional documents using Microsoft Word. Topics include:

  • Creating and editing documents

  • Formatting text and paragraphs

  • Inserting tables, images, and headers

  • Saving and printing documents

  • Designing simple reports and letters

Students practice real-life document tasks to build confidence.

Microsoft PowerPoint (Presentations)

In the PowerPoint module, students learn how to design effective presentations by:

  • Creating slides

  • Adding text, images, and shapes

  • Applying themes and animations

  • Organizing content logically

  • Presenting with confidence

Students prepare and present their own slides as part of the session.

Building Digital Confidence

Our Computer Basic Training program is focused on practical learning, ensuring every student can confidently use a computer by the end of the course. The sessions are interactive, supportive, and tailored to beginners.

Python Internship Training Program for Form Four Leavers

We are pleased to announce the successful launch of a Python Internship Training Program aimed at empowering selected Form Four leavers from various secondary schools across Arusha Region with practical programming skills aligned with current industry demands.

The training program commenced in December 2025 and is scheduled to run through to the end of January, delivering an intensive, hands-on learning experience focused on Python programming fundamentals and applied problem-solving.

This initiative is delivered in collaboration with Voice of Calling (VOC), a professional training organization based in California, USA, bringing global expertise and best practices into the local learning environment. Through this partnership, participants are exposed to internationally relevant coding standards and real-world use cases

Training Objectives

The program is designed to:

  • Introduce students to Python programming concepts and logic
  • Build a strong foundation in computational thinking
  • Prepare learners for real-world technology environments
  • Identify high-potential candidates for internship opportunities

Internship Selection

At the conclusion of the training, participants will undertake a competency-based assessment. Successful candidates will be selected to join our organization as Python Interns, providing them with an opportunity to further develop their skills through practical, workplace-based learning.

This program reflects our continued commitment to youth empowerment, digital skills development, and talent nurturing, ensuring that young learners are equipped with relevant competencies for the evolving technology landscape.

Regional AYC Competition-Winner Announcement

Tanzania Wins First Place at the Regional AYC Competition 2025

On 5 December 2025, the Regional AYC Competition was successfully held, bringing together innovative youth-led business ideas from nine African countries: Sierra Leone, Togo, Uganda, South Africa, Ghana, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Côte d’Ivoire, Liberia, Burkina Faso, and Tanzania. Each participating country was represented by its national winning team, selected through a competitive nationwide process.

The Regional AYC Competition provided a platform for young innovators to present practical, scalable business solutions addressing key economic and social challenges across the region.

Tanzania Secures First Prize

We are proud to announce that Tanzania emerged as the 1st Prize Winner at the competition. Tanzania was represented by Project Team Skyverse Solution, who presented an innovative project titled “Chambua Karanga Machine.”

The Chambua Karanga Machine project stood out for its creativity, practicality, and strong potential for real-world impact, earning top recognition among all participating countries.

Program Implementation and Partnerships

The Tanzanian team was supported through the Skills Enhancement Program (SEP), which was conducted by E3empower Africa Company in Tanzania. The program was implemented in partnership with JA Africa and sponsored by the ZZ Zurich Fund from Switzerland.

Through the SEP, participants were equipped with essential skills in:

  • Business idea development and validation
  • Entrepreneurship and innovation
  • Market analysis and solution design
  • Pitching, presentation, and teamwork

The success of Project Team Skyverse Solution is a strong testament to the effectiveness of this collaborative approach, combining structured training, mentorship, and strategic partnerships.

Recognizing Regional Innovation

All participating countries presented diverse and impactful projects through their respective teams, reflecting the growing strength of youth entrepreneurship across Africa. Tanzania’s first-place achievement highlights the importance of investing in youth skills development and innovation-driven programs.

Team Building Trip to Mwanza: Strengthening Collaboration and Team Spirit

As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering a strong, collaborative, and motivated workforce, our team recently participated in a team-building trip to Mwanza. The trip brought together staff members from different departments for a period of learning, engagement, and shared experiences outside the usual office environment.

Purpose of the Trip

The primary objective of the Mwanza team-building initiative was to:

  • Strengthen teamwork and collaboration
  • Enhance communication across teams
  • Promote trust, creativity, and problem-solving
  • Reinforce our organizational values through practical engagement

Activities and Engagement

During the trip, the team took part in a variety of structured team-building activities designed to encourage cooperation, leadership, and strategic thinking. These activities were complemented by interactive group sessions that allowed team members to share ideas, reflect on challenges, and build stronger professional relationships.

In addition to the planned activities, the team also had the opportunity to experience Mwanza’s unique environment, providing a refreshing and inspiring backdrop that contributed to a relaxed and open atmosphere.
