Our Partners & Collaborators
KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency)
KOICA is South Korea’s main international cooperation and development agency, responsible for implementing official grant-aid and technical-cooperation programmes to support socio-economic development in partner countries.
KOICA works across diverse sectors — including agriculture, rural development, energy, education, health, and environmental sustainability — aiming to promote sustainable growth, reduce poverty, and strengthen capacity in developing countries
With a dedicated country (serving Tanzania and other East-African countries), KOICA has been instrumental in funding development projects that build local capacity, infrastructure and social services in the region.
At NuruSafe, partnership with KOICA provides us access to international support frameworks — enabling us to implement best-practice infrastructure, training, and community-oriented programmes aligned with global development standards.
E3Empower Africa
E3Empower Africa is a nonprofit social-enterprise and development cooperation organisation that focuses on promoting sustainable development through the pillars of Energy, Education & Entrepreneurship.
Working in Tanzania (headquartered in Arusha), E3Empower has pioneered initiatives like ICT/ STEM education in schools and communities, entrepreneurship training, renewable-energy and social-innovation programs — aiming to empower youth and rural communities with skills and opportunities
E3Empower also acts as a bridge between civil society, academic institutions, private and public partners — enabling collaborative development projects in education, technology deployment, and community upliftment.
Our collaboration with E3Empower Africa supports NuruSafe’s broader vision: combining agricultural value-chain development with social impact, community empowerment, and sustainable livelihoods.
iTEC – Innovative Technology and Energy Center
iTEC is a technology-and-innovation centre focused on developing and applying appropriate, context-aware technologies for African conditions, supported by Korean institutions and international cooperation frameworks.
iTEC’s work spans renewable energy, agricultural distribution and processing technologies (including cold-storage, packaging, refrigeration), water & sanitation, health/equipment distribution, and ICT/education infrastructure — all tailored to maximize impact in rural and semi-urban communities.
Specifically, iTEC researches and builds systems for agricultural product cooling, drying, packaging, storage and transport — which aligns directly with NuruSafe’s mission of preserving freshness, reducing post-harvest loss, and enabling export-ready produce.
Through iTEC’s technical expertise and innovations, NuruSafe can ensure modern, efficient, and locally-appropriate cold-chain, storage and packaging solutions — making our operations robust, sustainable and competitive.
Shared Vision & What These Partnerships Bring
By working closely with KOICA, E3Empower Africa, and iTEC, NuruSafe leverages a powerful synergy of development aid, community empowerment, technology transfer, and agricultural infrastructure. Some of the combined benefits:
Access to international funding, technical support and development frameworks via KOICA — helping us build cold-chain and storage infrastructure, meet compliance, and scale reliably.
Community development and social impact reach through E3Empower: supporting youth education, local livelihoods, entrepreneurship — strengthening the socio-economic foundation of farmers and rural communities we work with.
Technology-driven post-harvest solutions via iTEC: adapting modern, context-appropriate cold-storage, packaging and logistics technologies to local realities — reducing loss, improving quality, and ensuring export-ready produce.
Sustainable growth model combining agriculture, technology, education, and social empowerment — aligning with modern development goals for rural economies and food-value chains.
